Staff was friendly and helpful. Room smelled nice and clean. Loved the fact there was no carpet in room. Had tea, coffee and hot water machine available anytime i wanted to use it. Have a nice sized game/pool table/gathering room. (Have to pay to play games) I had a microwave/ refrigerator in room. The Grocery store, McDonald's,subway,2 gas stations all right by motel - short walking distance (met my meal needs.) Dollar general down the road. Right off interstate 80. Felt safe and enjoyed my stay.

Sometimes one will conjure up a certain image when a Motel 6 comes to mind. Not this one. This is a lovely, well maintained, well lit, quiet, and safe place to stay for one night while on the road. Staff was very friendly and accomodating, the ladies at the front desk especially. the fridge and microwave in the room were appreciated. A very good night's sleep was had due to the comfy beds and the quiet room.

I have travelled a lot throughout the US and stayed in many many Motel 6. This is by far the best one! The facility is really well renovated and maintained. Spotless room, soft towels, comfy bed... The swimming pool area turned into a pool/ lounge room is a brilliant idea and the laundry room is always a plus. Staff was super friendly and made it easy to add a second night. Good location if you are visiting Winterset and Des Moines.

It was so clean and comfortable! And the sho er was outstanding! The entire staff is amazing—so friendly and fun! And the location is great. Very safe and near two convenience stores and a McDonalds. I will definitely stay here next time I’m in town!

The hotel was very clean and elegant inside. The price for a one night stay was cheap! Our room was well cleaned before our arrival.

It had everything I needed for my highway stopover. Big, clean and comfortable rooms. Coffee available in the reception. A few different food outlets nearby (I can recommend the Mexican place a few blocks down the road)

I stay at this particular location 3-4 times a year. Convenient, reasonably priced...in reality, all I'm looking for is a place to sleep. And I sleep well

Right off the interstate and a good location. Room was clean and comfortable. Fun little area by the front desk with a pool table. Our teens enjoyed that.

My husband and I stayed here with our golden retriever. We especially appreciated that there was no charge for our well-behaved dog. The room had everything we need and the stay was a good value.
